In the Fall of 2021, at Florida State University (FSU) at Panama City Professor Dr. Jamiel "Doc" Vadell challenged his Entrepreneur students to design a coffee shop for their final assignment. The six students loved the idea and created Techspresso.

After seeing the idea in the classroom, Dr. Vadell decided to fund the project and bring the coffee shop to life. The Techspresso team is now in the process of taking this to the next level to provide a space for students to go early in the morning or late at night. This is a place built by students - for students. We took a college course and made the ideas real! Like Doc says, "talk is cheap ."

The goal of Techspresso was to create a calm, safe environment for students to grab coffee and to study alone or in groups. Techspresso is open to the public and everyone is welcome! We care about sustainability, equity, and local products. We will purchase only Organic Grounds Coffee and work with Fair Trade Partners, local Entrepreneurs, and with Non-Profit organizations. 

Techspresso conveniently has spaces for students to study in private areas, comfortable seating in the main room, and in group room for projects/ meetings.
